Joe D. Guy

Joe D. Guy has written for the nationally distributed Community Policing Exchange, and he writes articles on history for Appalachian Life Magazine. His weekly newspaper column, “Beyond the Blue Line,” began in the Daily Post-Athenian in Athens, Tennessee, and now appears in several East Tennessee newspapers. He is a 2000 Scholarship Winner of the Lost State Writer’s Conference in Greeneville, Tennessee.

Joe Guy is a ten-year veteran of law enforcement and emergency services. He lives in McMinn County, Tennessee.
