Joe Tennis
Joe Tennis was born a mile off US-58 in Virginia Beach. He grew up a long the Elizabeth River near Norfolk and now lives in Southwest Virginia. A graduate of both Tidewater Community College and Radford University, Tennis has contributed articles to Blue Ridge Country, The Virginian-Pilot, Bristol Herald-Courier, The Roanoke Times, Kingsport Times-News, Marquee Magazine, and Appalachian Voice. Tennis is also the author of Southwest Virginia Crossroads: An almanac of Place Names and Places to See.
