Kathleen Poulsen taught reading and writing skills to learning-disabled students at the high school and community college level for twelve years. She has lived in or visited apple-raising communitites from Maine down through the Appalachians and throughout Oregon and Northern California. She and her family currently love in Forest Grove, Oregon.
