Denise Hillman Moynahan

Denise Hillman Moynahan graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design with a bachelor of fine arts in illustration design. In 1984, Denise joined the Central Intelligence Agency as a visual information specialist; she retired in 1999 as Chief of the Visual Information Staff in the Office of the Deputy Director for Science and Technology. She has studied with the Institute of Children's Literature and is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators. Denise and her husband presently live in a geodesic dome on top of Backbone Mountain in Garrett County, Maryland.
